Thank you for visiting my webpage. I know this is not a very attractive page design-wise but I just hope it would serve the purpose for which it is made i.e. to bring us all together so that we can help each other and exchange notes in recognizing and understanding this disease from which our loved one is suffering.
Alzhiemer's is a disease characterized by loss of short term memory which gradually progresses to involve medium term and eventually long term memory. Details about the disease can be looked up on the Internet. This page is not meant to educate people about the disease but to create a support group for the patients of Alzhiemer's disease living in Karachi.
Who should join ??
Anyone who has a family member or dear one suffering from this disease or any other cause of memory loss can join this group.
The reason for making this support group is to bring together those families who have members affected by this debilitating disease. My opinion is that if we all get together frequently, care givers would be able to share their personal experiences and give useful advice to each other as to how they can cope with the day to day problems and how we all can improve the quality of life of our loved ones suffering from Alzheimers.
